Eligibility Requirements
The Burnham Scholars program is open to any student who meets ALL of the following requirements.
Applicant Eligibility Requirements
- Student currently has Senior Level Standing in high school.
- Student has applied to the University of California Santa Barbara in an engineering, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or biological science major.
- Student must be a U.S. Citizen and California Resident.
- Family annual income is not above $120,000.
Awardee Eligibility Requirements
Student awardees must stay within an Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Biological Science major at UCSB throughout the entire duration of the award. Each quarter they must maintain a 3.0 GPA and also complete a minimum of 36 units during the academic year. Awardees shall be required to attend periodic on- and off-campus events and activities as scheduled by CNSI specifically for Burnham Scholarship recipients.
